1 Way To Boost Your Email Marketing Capabilities

I am a firm believer in “The money is in the list”, having marketed to some 21k+ subscribers on my various lists.

But there is a simple way to boost your chances of advertising related products to people already on your lists.

It’s simple; you get them to sign up to more of your email lists!

How?

You make it simple for them at the very start when you obtain their email address initially.

Take a look at the image below:

How I capture lots of email addresses

What I am doing here is asking the subscriber for their first name, email address and country. That will sign them up to the main newsletter. But notice I am also offering them a chance to sign up to other newsletters too:

A speed reading course, a body language course and also a personal development course.

If they only check one extra box, that’s two lists they are on. 9 times out of ten the subscriber will opt into all three optional newsletters, thus boosting my chances of offering them a product they may very well be interested in.

In my opinion having related products and services to your main newsletter is how you can get them to sign up. Asking them to opt in to a Dog grooming newsletter probably won’t work as it’s unrelated.
